Compared to other straining technologies, the FILTEX® extruder, on top of being reliable, has the benefits of keeping compound temperature under control during the process, not having any polymer leakage, producing less scrap, and having very short cleaning times.

How energy efficient is the latest FILTEX® extruder in comparison with other technologies?

A preliminary comparison of specific energy has been made and at same throughput the FILTEX® extruder consumption is up to 30% lower than for example the single-screw extruder.
