Pioneering sustainable solutions in rubber and plastics processing
At HF GROUP, we are pioneering sustainable solutions in rubber and plastics processing, supporting our valueable customers towards a more eco-friendly future. By prioritising efficiency, reliability, and long-term partnerships, we empower the industry to achieve their sustainability goals.
eCuring electrical tyre curing
Introducing the electrical curing innovation for a greener future in tyre manufacturing. Achieve your ESG goals by using electrical tyre curing.
- CO2 emissions reduced by 50% per tyre with electric heating compared to conventional steam heating
- HF offers it as a feature on a new curing presses and as a retrofit for existing curing presses
- With 2.3 billion new tyres produced annually by 2031, eCuring electrical tyre curing can potentially save ~ 11 million tons of CO2 per year

TANDEM mixers 2.0
HF offers all significant innovations for the rubber and plastics mixing industry as the BANBURY® mixers, INTERMIX® mixers and TANDEM mixers 2.0 - the best and most efficient solutions in the market for silica mixing and beyond.
- CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 60% due to reduction of mixing steps while maintaining high mixing quality
- Rework processing at no capacity losses due to direct feeding option in lower mixer
- Increased throughput by dividing the dispersive, distributive and, if required, reactive mixing tasks

Smart Final Mix as a Service
The Smart Final Mix (AI) service combines algorithms as well as three distinct criteria for mixing quality, energy use and compound temperature. Benefit from more than 500+ trials experience and learn more about best achieved results for one mixing line:
- CO2 reduction up to 29%
- Throughput increase up to 40%
- Mixing time reduction up to 60%

Smart reduction of consumables
HF offers many technical and process optimisation solutions. For example the new iXSeal 2.0 dust seal controller technology. Using intelligent control algorithms, iXSeal 2.0 ensures that the dust seals operate at the minimum required hydraulic pressure and the pressure-dependent oil quantity, also taking into account the temperatures of the dust seals.
- Less lubrication oil consumption due to automatically optimised oil quantity
- Reduction of waste oil
- Extended dust seal lifetime by using minimal optimal dust seal pressure
Energy monitoring
Start optimising your production efficiency with real-time energy consumption monitoring gaining valueable insights, especially in connection with your batch mixing specific energy consumption.
- Capture and store relevant energy consumption data and connect it to respective batch mixing data (in connection with ADVISE®)
- Visualise batch specific energy consumption (in connection with ADVISE®) including energy costs and CO2 emissions
- Discover inefficiencies, energy spikes and use energy consumption data as basis for mixing process and/or production planning optimisation

End-of-life-tyres solution
A green solution to a worldwide problem: the HF GROUP 2-stage pyrolysis system. Get from end-of-life tyres (ELTs) 50% tyre derived oil (TDO), 40% raw recovered Carbon Black (rCB) and 10% syngas. Benefit from HF and WF Recycle-Tech ELTs system per year:
- CO2 reduction of 10,500 tons
- 4,000 tons recovered materials, e.g. TDO, rCB and syngas
- 1 million tyres from landfill sustainable recycled
